"There are so many wonderful stories in this book. Some of them warmed my heart, and some of them broke it. Some made me laugh, and some filled me with delight. Some made me wonder how she and her critters made it through with seemingly insurmountable odds. I loved this book!"

5 stars! A Personal Story of a Journey into Farming
"I really enjoyed learning about Georgia's trek into farming. Having raised dogs, goats, and Angora Rabbits myself, I know there are endless challenges with keeping animals healthy, and it's a constant learning experience. And then there is the beauty of birth, and pain of loss, something that every breeder goes through, but is not for everyone. A consequence of raising animals that have a much shorter lifespan than our own.
I also found that some of the challenges she went through were more than what most people have to deal with, especially the accident, but also being forced into a move when you have so many animals that move with you, and the lose of several pets at too close an interval. There is a lot to be said for being able to keep your head up and move forward in very challenging circumstances.
Lastly, I am a Pyrenean Mastiff owner so the book has a special meaning to me. PMs are still pretty rare in the US and Canada, and learning about another breeders experiences was especially interesting.
